About primehammer

primehammer is a remote-first software studio based in Brno, Czech Republic. Our team, spread across Europe and Latin America, consists of seasoned engineers and designers who help our clients - startups, and enterprises from Europe and North America - build their tech products. 

Our ambition is to do team augmentation in the best possible way. We don’t care solely about the placement of our engineers - we team up with our clients like a real partner and ensure our people help them achieve their goals.

Last year our team was around ≈10 people, now we are ≈30. We want to keep growing and for that, we need a stellar Recruiter and People person. Keeping amazing culture is of the same importance to us, so you’re not going to find at primehammer a growth-at-any-cost environment. Ensuring our team members and clients stay delighted is a priority #1. 


What you’ll do

This role is approximately 75% about recruiting and 25% about building a remote-first culture. So, you can expect high impact and wide-ranging responsibility: owning full-cycle recruiting, and driving hiring strategy. Secondarily, you’ll be making sure our engineers enjoy our remote setup and for that, you’ll be organizing various (remote) activities. What exactly you’d do is very much up to your creativity. Must-haves

These skills and qualities are crucial for success in this role.

  • Generalist mindset - we are a small team and need people who are agile, flexible, and can do anything in the People/Recruiting area. When circumstances change, you can shift tasks and priorities swiftly
  • Can-do attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong desire to be a Lead Recruiter and People person in a growing yet small international software studio
  • Ability to attract senior candidates and build diverse pipelines
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • C1/C2 English

Nice-to-haves

These are not necessary. We value attitude, grit, and common sense over experience. So if you have what it takes, apply even if you do not meet all the nice-to-haves.

  • Experience with tech recruiting
  • Experience with building international teams
  • You’ve delivered exceptional candidate experience
  • You have startup experience
  • You’ve worked remotely and know what it takes (brings amazing freedom and flexibility which requires accountability)

Admission process

  1. First interview (with COO/CEO) - 30 min
  2. Take-home task - up to 60 min
  3. Final interview where you’d present the task (both CEO and COO present - these are the people you’d work mostly with) - 60 min


We are aiming to finalize the admission process in September and would like the chosen candidate to start in October/November. We’re looking for candidates from the EU.
